 TuusInfo operates with special summer opening hours during the summer season. 

Exceptional opening hours

• Thursday 19 June, pre-holiday opening hours in Hyrylä from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. 
• Friday 20 June closed (Midsummer) 

Summer opening hours

• The Hyrylä service point will be open during the summer from 16 June to 31 July. During this period, the service point will be open Monday to Thursday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. and on Fridays from 8 a.m. to 12 noon.   
• The Jokela point will be open with reduced opening hours on Wednesdays in weeks 23, 24 and 32 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. 
• The Kellokoski service point is open on Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. 
• The Jokela and Kellokoski service points will be closed for the summer break from 13 June to 31 July.  

Housing advice  

Housing advice for people over 55 is on summer break from 7 July to 21 July. 

Housing advice for young people and adults under 55 will be on summer break from 7 July to 11 August.

During the holiday period, the distribution of housing packages will also be suspended and will resume on 11 August.

Living room activities for older people 

The living room activities for senior citizens will be on summer break from 7 to 20 July. At other times, activities will continue as normal: 

• Mondays in Mäntymäki from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., Luurikuja 1, Tuusula  

• Tuesdays at Kustaa Aadolf House, 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., Koulutie 12, Kellokoski  

• Wednesdays at Ester Matilda House, 2–4 p.m., Konduktöörinkuja 2, Jokela  

• Thursdays at the Kalliopohja club room from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., Kalliopohjantie 5, C-rappu, Hyrylä 

• Fridays at Restaurant Rummu in Riihikallio, 1–3 p.m., Pellavamäentie 5–7, Tuusula. 

Culture and leisure services  

Tuusula libraries’ summer opening hours 1 June–10 August

• The main library is open Monday to Thursday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and on Fridays from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. The library is closed on Saturdays and Sundays. The newspaper room is open Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. and self-service is available from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. The main library's return box is closed between 5.30 p.m. on Friday and 9 a.m. on Monday.   

• The Jokela Library is open on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m., and on Wednesdays and Fridays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The library is closed on Saturdays and Sundays. Starting on Monday, 2 June, the reading room will only be open during the library's opening hours. 

• Kellokoski Library is open on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. and on Wednesdays and Fridays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Self-service hours are from 1 June to 22 June, Monday to Thursday from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m., Fridays from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturdays and Sundays from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. From 23 June onwards, self-service hours are Monday to Thursday from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Friday to Sunday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. 

• The Kirre mobile library will only operate evening routes from Monday 2 June to Friday 13 June. Kirre will not operate any routes from Monday 16 June to Sunday 10 August.   

• Midsummer opening hours:
  On Thursday 19 June, libraries will close at 4 p.m., and the Kirre mobile library will not be running any routes. From Friday 20 June to Sunday 22 June, all libraries will be closed. The Kellokoski self-service library will be open on Thursday 19 June from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. and on Friday 20 June from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. The main library's return slot will be closed on Thursday 19 June at 3 p.m. and will reopen on Monday 23 June at 9 a.m. 

Tuusula Museum attractions in summer

• Erkkola and Aleksis Kivi's death cottage are open during the summer from Tuesday to Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Both are closed on Midsummer's Day, 20–22 June.  

• Halosenniemi is open every day during the summer from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Closed on Midsummer Eve, 20 June, and open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on 21–22 June.  

• The Kellokoski Hospital Museum is open from 1 June to 20 July and from 7 to 10 August on Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., and during the Come to the Museum weeks from 21 July to 3 August from Tuesday to Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Also open on Saturdays 17 May, 24 May and 31 May, 16 August, 23 August and 30 August from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Closed on Midsummer 20–21 June, open on Sunday 22 June.  

• The Klaavola House and Jokela Brick Factory are open during the Come to the Museum weeks from 21 July to 3 August, Tuesday to Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Employment services will be closed from 30 June to 27 July, but otherwise customers can be seen during the summer by appointment. Please contact us by email or telephone. You can also book an appointment online.

School summer holidays and the start of the autumn term

Schools are on summer holiday from 2 June to 6 August. The autumn term begins on 7 August.  

Early childhood education summer time

Daycare centres will be operating on a reduced schedule from 23 June to 3 August.

Building control  

During the summer holiday season, building control operations will be limited. The technical service point for growth and the environment will be closed during weeks 27–31, i.e. from 30 June to 1 August.

Community lending library

The community lending library will be closed for the summer break from 28 June to 20 July.
