Responsibility affects all companies today. Responsibility is not just for large companies – small and medium-sized enterprises must also find their role in developing a sustainable business environment and a secure future.

Companies may become aware of responsibility issues and work in this area through customer feedback and requirements, supply chains and the needs of other stakeholders, for example. It is good to start somewhere. If a company does not yet have sufficient resources or expertise, these will develop over time as it delves into responsibility issues.

In your own business, it is important to understand that responsibility is not a separate area, but a central part of business. Responsibility is linked to everything in business, including strategy, the environment, personnel, procurement, customer relationships, partners, supply chains and business models.

Six municipalities in Central Uusimaa joined forces because each municipality is considering responsibility and how we can best support our local businesses. This led to the creation of the “Responsibility as a driver of growth” webinar series, which we offer free of charge to businesses in our region and others interested in this webinar series. Welcome!
