The changing rooms at the winter swimming spots will open on Saturday 24 October 2026 at 10.00. There are four winter swimming spots in Tuusula: in Hyrylä, Jokela, Kellokoski and Rusutjärvi.

QTS, which is planning a data centre in Jokela, is organising a community event at the Jokela Workers’ Hall on Monday 19 October. The event will present the project plans, and participants will also have the opportunity to discuss the project with representatives of the organisation.

At its seminar on 7–8 October 2026, the Tuusula Municipal Council began its deliberations on the Mayor’s draft budget for 2027. The mayor’s proposal, published on 30 September 2026, is designed to balance the budget, and the intention is to continue this balancing process resolutely throughout the financial planning period. At the council seminar, this approach was deemed to be the right one.

This autumn, more than 200 new children and families have started early years education in Tuusula. Starting early years education is a significant milestone in a child’s life. At the same time, it brings about changes to the whole family’s daily routine.

Tuusulan Vesi is continuing the systematic modernisation of its water supply network. This year’s renovation projects are taking place in Hyrylä and Jokela. At these sites, ageing pipes will be replaced and the reliability and capacity of the water supply system will be improved. Property owners should also ensure that their own on-site water pipes and drains are maintained.

There are a large number of events taking place in various community centres across Tuusula, featuring music, dance, circus, visual arts and workshops, amongst other things. With over thirty events taking place during Tuusula’s Night of the Arts, there is something to suit everyone’s interests. Most of the events are free of charge.
