Councillors received an update on the proposed QTS data centre development, including the consideration of battery energy storage systems as an alternative to diesel-powered backup generators and proposed community-focused initiatives.

Tuusula Municipality organised a parents’ evening at Tuomala School on 16 September and a residents’ evening on 17 September. The topic was the situation at Tuomala School and the preliminary impact assessment to support decision-making. The preliminary impact assessment is progressing. The next residents’ meeting will be held in October–November.

This free lecture series, taking place in September and October, brings together artists, art teachers, art students of all ages, local councillors and members of the public for a shared discussion. Come along to listen and discuss art!

Tuusulan Vesi is continuing the systematic modernisation of its water supply network. This year’s renovation projects are taking place in Hyrylä and Jokela. At these sites, ageing pipes will be replaced and the reliability and capacity of the water supply system will be improved. Property owners should also ensure that their own on-site water pipes and drains are maintained.

There are a large number of events taking place in various community centres across Tuusula, featuring music, dance, circus, visual arts and workshops, amongst other things. With over thirty events taking place during Tuusula’s Night of the Arts, there is something to suit everyone’s interests. Most of the events are free of charge.
