The mayor is responsible for the political leadership of the municipality together with the chair of the municipal council and two deputy mayors.

The Tuusula municipal management team represents expert leadership in support of elected decision-makers. The management team is led by the Chief Executive Officer.

The municipal service organisation consists of the municipal management and three areas of responsibility: shared services, growth and the environment, and education and culture. These areas of responsibility are further divided into service areas.

Through our guardianship services, we aim to help individuals who are unable to manage their own financial affairs. Such individuals can receive support from a guardian who, together with them or on their behalf, manages their affairs and looks after their interests.

Keski-Uudenmaan Työterveys Oy provides occupational health care services to companies, entrepreneurs and municipal employees.

Tuusulan Vesi is a municipal enterprise in Tuusula. It is responsible for the distribution of domestic water and the disposal of sewage in Tuusula.

The Central Uusimaa Environmental Centre is responsible for environmental protection and environmental health care in Järvenpää, Kerava, Mäntsälä, Nurmijärvi and Tuusula, as well as veterinary services.
