Our museum sites are Halosenniemi, Erkkola, Aleksis Kivi’s Memorial Cottage and Klaavola House. We are also involved in the museum activities of the Kellokoski Hospital Museum and the Jokela Brick Factory Museum.

Aleksis Kivi’s Memorial Cottage
The cottage where Finnish national author Aleksis Kivi died is the place where the writer lived during the last months of his life in 1872. The cottage is open to visitors during the summer season.
Klaavola House
At Klaavola House, you can learn about life on a prosperous farm in Uusimaa in the 20th century. The rooms are decorated in the style of the interwar period, using items belonging to the former residents of the house and the museum's collections. In addition to the main building, the courtyard includes a granary, a milk room and a sauna.
Kellokoski Hospital Museum
The Hospital Museum tells the story of Kellokoski Hospital and the history of psychiatric treatment. Established in 1973, the museum is located in a blue wooden building on the grounds of the former hospital. Jokela Brick Factory
