Open family activities
Open activities give you the opportunity to meet families in similar life situations and receive peer support. If necessary, early childhood education professionals will also help you. The activities offer your child a great opportunity to find playmates and practise interacting with children of different ages. Children’s clubs
We organise clubs for children aged 2–5 at all family centres 1–3 times a week. Each club session lasts 2.5–3 hours, depending on the age of the children. The clubs follow the pre-school work and holiday schedule.
The club is a safe environment for practising interacting with other children. The clubs offer a wide range of activities in line with the early childhood education plan, with play at the heart of everything we do.
You can apply for club places at any time, and we fill the places in the order in which applications are received. Applications are made electronically in eDaisy.
Children’s clubs and open family activities organised by the municipality are free of charge. A child’s guardian can receive childcare allowance even if the child participates in club activities.

Family centres are regional meeting places. They are located in Riihikallio (Pikku-Pellava), Hyrylä (Myötätuuli), Jokela (Notkopuisto) and Kellokoski (Ikioma).
