Individuals or groups of Tuusula residents can take initiatives on matters concerning the municipality. In addition to municipal initiatives, residents can influence matters by providing feedback, participating in resident meetings, and submitting reminders and statements.

Resident surveys are an easy way for all residents of a municipality or users of municipal services to participate. The surveys are used to map residents' views on matters such as the planning of residential and green areas and parks, the level of services, and issues related to well-being.

At resident events, you can participate in workshops and community evenings, as well as hear about and influence planning proposals or other current issues.

We are building the Tuusula of the future together with different resident groups. We are engaging in dialogue with residents as part of Sitra's Future Power programme.

On the Tuusula election website, you will find information on, for example, polling stations in Tuusula and their opening hours, instructions for registering to vote at home, and information on election advertising locations.

Influential bodies operate between residents and the municipality as part of civic engagement. Councils representing different resident groups and the youth council can, if necessary, make proposals and issue statements on matters concerning their own target groups.
