Principles of assistance
The general principles for grants awarded by the municipality of Tuusula were decided on 27 November 2023.
Operating grants may be awarded to applicants whose registered office and operations are located in Tuusula or whose activities are focused on the residents of Tuusula. The activities receiving grants must emphasise public benefit and transparency. Operating grants are awarded for one year at a time.
The allocation of operating grants is influenced by the amount of funding available to the Committee for the Promotion of Wellbeing and Health and the number of grant applications. The granting of grants is always based on discretion. The purpose, scope, quality and overall impact of the activity to be subsidised are taken into account in the assessment.
When evaluating grant decisions, preference is given to activities that have an impact.
