The Monio Cultural Centre is a lively venue. You can hire space at Monio for all sorts of events.

Monio’s versatile spaces are suitable for concerts, theatre performances, meetings and seminars, trade fairs, lectures and sales events, among other things.
Premises for rent
Riihi Hall
The Riihi Hall has a fixed seating area for 164 people and a fixed stage. Thanks to its size and acoustics, the space is ideal for atmospheric concerts, for example. We rent out the Riihi Hall for specific events and occasions. Enquiries are handled by Tuusula’s centralised customer service, TuusInfo.
We kindly request that you contact us in good time, preferably at least two months before the event. In addition to the venue hire fee, we will charge for equipment and service hire in accordance with our price list, as well as any staff salary costs.
If you require a dressing room when making your reservation, you must book it separately. Dressing room 107 is best suited for this purpose.
Rental prices for the Riihi Hall:

Manor Hall
The Kartano Hall can be rented for a variety of events and occasions. Reservations can be made through the room reservation system.
The rental prices for the Kartano Hall are consistent with those of other sports facilities in Tuusula municipality schools.
The Kartano Hall has a 342-seat telescopic auditorium. With removable chairs, the auditorium capacity is 417. The hall can accommodate a maximum of 569 people at a time.
Please indicate your need for the grandstand to be opened in the additional information section when placing your order. At least two hours must be reserved for opening the grandstand. The cost of opening the grandstand is €200.
The floor material in the Kartano Hall is soft carpet. The hall has a stage area at floor level, measuring 60 m2 and 6 x 10 metres. The floor material on the stage area is black wood.

Monion Pit
The Monio pit (auditorium recess) is located on the first floor next to the café. The space is an open lobby area, so any events held there must be public and open to everyone.
The space is equipped with a projector, screen and sound equipment for speeches and small music performances. Sound equipment for music performances must be arranged separately when booking the space. The steps of Monio-monttu have 76 seats, and the café area can accommodate approximately 80 people. There are visual restrictions in the café area.

Tupa meeting room
The meeting room can accommodate 12 people. The room is equipped with AV equipment and Wi-Fi. Next to the room, in the corridor, there is a small kitchen with coffee-making facilities. The room can be booked from Monday to Friday between 4.30 p.m. and 10 p.m. and on weekends between 8 a.m. and 10 p.m.

Event marketing
The event organiser is responsible for marketing the event:

The event organiser is responsible for arranging catering for the event. Catering is provided in the café on the first floor; food and drinks may not be taken into the Monio classrooms. If your event includes food or coffee service, please also reserve the Monio Monttu for your use.
The Tuusula Municipality Food Services Unit is responsible for the operation of the kitchen and café at the Monio Upper Secondary School and Cultural Centre, and the kitchen and café facilities are not available for use by event organisers.
