The reading diploma encourages reading!

Reading diploma

  • encourages reading as a hobby
  • developes reading, writing and communication skills
  • deepens your knowledge of literature and its various genres
  • broadens general knowledge.

You will receive a reading diploma when you have read six books (in primary school) or seven books (in secondary school) and demonstrated that you understand the content of the books.

You can find reading recommendations in the reading diploma lists at the bottom of this page. You can also choose books that are not on the lists. Choose your diploma books together with your teacher or parents. This will help you find the books you like best and that best suit your reading skills. The library staff will be happy to help you find the books.
