Art school timetable and term fees
At the art school, you can study in age-appropriate study groups once a week in Monio and Kellokoski.

Basic education in visual arts for children and young people consists of basic studies and advanced studies. The studies progress in study modules according to age group. The basic studies (800 hours) consist of PO1 (6–7-year-olds), PO2 (8–10-year-olds), PO3 (11–12-year-olds) and PO4 (13–14-year-olds). There is one study module for advanced studies (500 hours), which is studied from the age of 15 onwards.
There are 16 study sessions in the autumn term and 18 in the spring term. The duration of the study sessions for groups PO1-PO2 is 2 x 45 minutes and for groups PO3-PO4 and advanced studies 3 x 45 minutes. The studies may also include, for example, exhibition visits.
You can join the art school at any stage of your studies.

Mini-figures (4-5 years old)
Basic studies 1 (6–7-year-olds)
In the 6–7-year-old programme, pupils are introduced to the basics of visual expression and thinking by experimenting with a wide range of two- and three-dimensional techniques, tools and materials, as well as various possibilities for working with visual arts.

In their work, pupils use means of expression that are meaningful to them and constantly lea new things from them. The studies include a live model drawing Saturday and an art trip each school year.

Advanced studies (15–20 years old)
In the studies for 15–20-year-olds, students deepen their skills in visual expression and thinking in accordance with the goals they have set for themselves. MINIKUVIS €60
60 minutes, 10 study weeks during the spring semester
PO1 and PO2 €142 per semester,

The tuition fee covers teaching and all materials and equipment used.
