Puustellinmetsän puisto

Location: Rykmentin puistotie 52, 04300 Tuusula

Puustellinmetsän puisto was built for the 2020 Housing Fair. This beautiful and diverse park offers plenty to do on a summer’s day.

Fjällbo Park

Fjällbo is a historic park in the Tuusulanjärvi landscape. At the end of the 19th century, the park belonged to J. V. Frostell, the district sheriff of Tuusula, who was also known as Iso-Vihtori. Fjällbo had a stable, a cowshed, a henhouse, a garden and farmland. After Frostell, Fjällbo was used as a holiday home for many years. Its first owner was CEO Severin Damstén, followed by businessman Ilmari Helander from 1929 to 1975. 

Today, the scenically diverse Fjällbo Park is managed with respect for its natural values. Visitors to the area may notice tree trunks left in the forest to serve as a habitat for insects and polypores.

Kotkanpuisto Park

Location: Haukantie 7, 04320 Tuusula

Kotkanpuisto is a popular park area for residents in Riihikallio. Kotkanpuisto has a fenced-in play area for younger children and another play area for slightly more energetic play.

Lilly Kajanus-Blenner Park

The beautiful Lilly Kajanus-Blenner Park is named after harpist Lilly Kajanus-Blenner (1885–1936). Lilly Kajanus-Blenner’s husband, Johannes Blenner (1879-1936), owned the Jokela brick factory and manor from 1917 to 1933. During the Blenner era, the Jokela manor was a lively cultural centre, hosting parties attended by the cream of Finnish artistic life and presidents.
