Puustellinmetsän puisto was built for the 2020 Housing Fair. This beautiful and diverse park offers plenty to do on a summer’s day.

In Puustellinmetsän puisto you will find:

• dog park
• cultivated plots
• play areas for children of all ages
• an herb garden and lots of fruit trees and berry bushes where you can pick delicious treats
• summer season on sheep pasture
• barbecue area (users must bring their own wood for barbecuing)
• fitness equipment.

Kaukjärvenranta is a park area on the shore of Lake Tuusulanjärvi that was renovated in 2023. In the park, you can admire large perennial and rose plantings or even spend a summer day picnicking. The park also has a bicycle service point where you can pump up your tyres.

Fjällbo is a historic park in the Tuusulanjärvi landscape. At the end of the 19th century, the park belonged to J. V. Frostell, the district sheriff of Tuusula, who was also known as Iso-Vihtori. Fjällbo had a stable, a cowshed, a henhouse, a garden and farmland. After Frostell, Fjällbo was used as a holiday home for many years. Its first owner was CEO Severin Damstén, followed by businessman Ilmari Helander from 1929 to 1975. 

Today, the scenically diverse Fjällbo Park is managed with respect for its natural values. Visitors to the area may notice tree trunks left in the forest to serve as a habitat for insects and polypores. 

In Fjällbo Park you will find:

• a gazebo available for visitors to rent
• pier pavilion
• campfire site
• public toilets during the summer season.

The park’s gazebo is available for private hire during the summer, for example for small parties. For more information on booking the gazebo, please visit the Meeting Facilities page.

The playhouse located in the playground is available for young children during the summer season from Monday at approximately 8 a.m. to Friday at approximately 12 noon. The 2025 summer season ends on 7 November 2025. The playhouse will be closed for the winter season. Please read the instructions for use provided in the playhouse.

The park is not maintained during winter.

Kotkanpuisto is a popular park area for residents in Riihikallio. Kotkanpuisto has a fenced-in play area for younger children and another play area for slightly more energetic play.

There is a small building called Bomba on the edge of Kotkanpuisto Park. Residents can reserve Bomba for use as a support facility for their events, such as children’s birthday parties at the playground. For more information on reserving Bomba, please visit the Meeting Facilities page.

The beautiful Lilly Kajanus-Blenner Park is named after harpist Lilly Kajanus-Blenner (1885–1936). Lilly Kajanus-Blenner’s husband, Johannes Blenner (1879-1936), owned the Jokela brick factory and manor from 1917 to 1933. During the Blenner era, the Jokela manor was a lively cultural centre, hosting parties attended by the cream of Finnish artistic life and presidents.

The park has a large play area and outdoor exercise equipment for adults.

Notkopuisto is a large park area in the centre of Jokela. The park offers a wide range of opportunities for exercise and play.

At Notkopuisto you will find:

• sledding hill in winter
• ball field
• gaming arena
• graffiti wall
• grass areas.

Annanpuisto Park is named after Anna Pakalén, the renowned head nurse at Kellokoski Hospital, whose statue stands in the centre of the park. “Paka” ea ed her statue thanks to her long and self-sacrificing work on behalf of her patients.

Annanpuisto is a beautiful, shady park where you can relax and admire the small rosarium and alpine rose garden in bloom.

Björkenheiminpuisto Park is the most central and functionally diverse park in Kellokoski.

In Björkenheiminpuisto Park you will find:
