You can make one-off or regular bookings for municipal facilities. You can apply for one-off bookings at municipal facilities throughout the year, so you can make a booking at any time as required. The application period for regular bookings, however, is once a year and applies to the following calendar or academic year. Application periods for regular bookings vary depending on the venue. Please check the venue-specific application periods in the booking guidelines.
Booking rooms in the new booking system
All municipal facilities available for booking will have been transferred to the new system by the start of 2026. Bookings made in the old system will be automatically transferred to the new system. This change will not require any further action from bookers regarding bookings that have already been confirmed.
In the new room booking system, rooms are booked electronically via strong authentication (Suomi.fi, mobile certificate or online banking credentials).
