Red brick buildings tell the story of Hyrylä's history

Located between Tuusula Main Library and the South Tuusula Social and Health Centre, Taidekasarmi has been vacant for the past few years, awaiting renovation. The future plans for the Aunela building next to the Art Barracks and Buildings 11 and 27 near Monio are still under development. Preliminary plans for Building 27 include restaurant operations, with renovation work estimated to begin in 2027–2028. Building 11 has already seen some activity, with repairs to the brick cladding completed this spring.
 
 Buildings 11 and 27 have been named according to the naming practice used during the garrison era, as has the wooden Building 10 located along Tuusulanväylä, also known as Building Kymppi.
 
 Aunela currently serves as a community space for associations and companies, and reservations can be made for meetings, sales events and various presentations, among other things.
