News - Hyrylä town centre

The Tuusula Town Hall is located in Särmä, which has been built in Hyrylä; the building will also house retail outlets and other services. Urban Partners, which was responsible for the development and construction of the project, has handed over the premises to Tuusula Municipality and to the commercial operators who will be based in the centre, who are responsible for the finishing works and commissioning of the premises. Jatke Toimitilat acted as the project contractor.

There are a large number of events taking place in various community centres across Tuusula, featuring music, dance, circus, visual arts and workshops, amongst other things. With over thirty events taking place during Tuusula’s Night of the Arts, there is something to suit everyone’s interests. Most of the events are free of charge.

A survey aimed at businesses in the Hyrylä area to lay the groundwork for a new collaboration model has now begun. Entrepreneurs, share your ideas and thoughts by 21 June 2026!

The Central Uusimaa Welfare Region (Keusote) is seeking an entrepreneur to set up and run a food kiosk at the planned Tuusula social and health services centre. The centre is due to open in early spring 2029.

The premises of Tuusula Municipality to be incorporated into the Hyrylä social and health services centre have been designed in close collaboration with the future users throughout the project. The latest design workshop was held on 22 April.

We are organising a workshop on Wednesday 22 April 2026 from 5.30 pm to 7.00 pm, where anyone interested will have the opportunity to contribute to the design of the Tuusula municipal meeting facilities to be located in the new Tuusula social and health services centre.

Jatke Toimitilat Oy has published the second weekly report for 2026 on the Särmä business and service centre construction site. The project continues with interior finishing and façade work.

Forty residents planned the municipal facilities for the social and health centre in a workshop held on 21 January. In addition to social and health facilities and reception areas, the social and health centre being built in Hyrylä will also include a bus station waiting area and a meeting room.
