The Helsinki Administrative Court has rejected the appeal concerning the Tuusula municipal elections in its decision of 10 June 2025. The results of the municipal elections remain in force.

Our news report on the election results contained incorrect information about the candidate who received the third highest number of votes and the comparative figure required for election as a representative.

At its meeting on 16 April 2025, the Central Election Committee confirmed the results of the 2025 municipal elections. A total of 18,102 votes were cast in the municipal elections in Tuusula, of which 10,077 votes, or 55.6 per cent, were cast on the actual election day. Voter turnout in Tuusula was 54.4 per cent.

Advance voting for regional and municipal elections ended on Tuesday, 8 April 2025, at 8 p.m. A total of 7,946 Tuusula residents voted in advance in the municipal elections and 7,601 in the regional elections. The actual election day is Sunday, 13 April 2025.

The municipality of Nurmijärvi is organising a regional election panel in cooperation with the Central Uusimaa welfare region Keusote, other municipalities in the region and the Aamuposti newspaper. The panel will be held on Tuesday 1 April from 6 to 7 p.m. in the Monikkosali hall in Klaukkala.
