As an employer, you can use up to six summer job vouchers when hiring summer workers. One young person can receive a maximum of two vouchers. One voucher is worth €200. The voucher is conditional on an employment relationship lasting at least 30 hours and a salary of at least £350. Two vouchers are worth £400 and are conditional on an employment relationship lasting at least 60 hours and a salary of at least £700. Please note that holiday pay is not counted as salary. We pay the summer job subsidy to the employer by invoice. You can apply for payment between 1 August and 31 October 2026.
