Apply for a summer job in good time and fill in the summer job voucher application together with your employer. Applications for summer job vouchers will open on 23 February 2026.

The employer may be a company, association or foundation operating in Finland, but not a private individual. The employer may not be a unit belonging to the municipality of Tuusula. The summer job must take place between May and September.

You can apply for a voucher:

• if you are a young person aged 15–20 living in Tuusula
• if you are not participating in the Tuusula municipality summer job lottery
• if you are not participating in the summer entrepreneurship programme
• if you are not the owner of the company or another person in a position of responsibility, such as the managing director or a member of the board of directors.

If you are 14 years old, you must tu 15 during the year of employment. You may be no older than 20 during the employment relationship.

We will primarily distribute vouchers to young people who did not receive a voucher in 2024 and 2025. If you received a voucher in previous summers or all vouchers are already reserved, we will move your application directly to the queue. The queue will open on 31 May 2026.

You will be notified by email if you are allocated a summer job voucher. You can be granted a maximum of two vouchers. The voucher is personal and cannot be transferred to another young person or another employer. If your intended summer job changes, cancel the voucher by notifying the Tuusula municipal employment services (tyollisyyspalvelut@tuusula.fi) and submit a new summer job voucher application with another employer.
