Beach information

Häkli beach is a sandy groundwater pond (an old gravel pit). The beach is mainly child-friendly, with a gently sloping bottom. In some places, the bottom is uneven (depth varies). At the diving tower, the depth is approximately 4 metres.

The beach has a jetty, diving tower, benches, exercise station, changing rooms, changing cubicles, litter bins, beach surveillance and a summer kiosk.

Beach surveillance is on weekends from 10 am to 4 pm between 6 June and 2 August 2026. There is no beach surveillance on the Midsummer weekend from 20 to 21 June.

The Häkli summer kiosk will be open, and the changing rooms will be open every day during the swimming season from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. The service is subject to weather conditions. For example, in rainy or cold weather, the kiosk and changing rooms may be closed.

Beach rating: In 2024, the rating was excellent.

Water sampling schedules and results: Information on blue-green algae and bathing water conditions can be found on the Central Uusimaa Environmental Centre website.

Dogs are not permitted on the beaches.

There is a separate beach for dogs on the shore of Lake Tuusulanjärvi.
