The beach area of Uimalampi is gently sloping, making it child-friendly. The depth is approximately 2 metres in the immediate vicinity of the jetty. The depth in the middle of the pond is 5 metres. Diving headfirst from the jetty is prohibited. There are no lifeguards on duty at the beach.
On the beach there is a jetty, two changing rooms, a bench and a playground.
Cafe Urkka and Tekova Arena’s lunch restaurant Muuvi are located near the beach.

Winter swimming
Pumps keep the ice hole open. The jetty always has a heating mat or non-freezing mat, and the changing room container is warm.
The changing room container does not have a shower or sauna. The container is available free of charge during the day after the opening day from 6.30 a.m. to 9 p.m.
The PIN code required to access the container can be obtained by emailing info@tuusulanurheilukeskus.fi. Emails are answered Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. The code is the same as in spring 2024.

Swimming season
The official swimming season is from 3 June to 31 August. We clean and inspect the beaches in Tuusula earlier than that. We aim to open the beaches in the week following the school graduation weekend.
