Hyrylä Upper Secondary School in South Tuusula, located along Tuusulanväylä, provides basic education for grades 7–9.

Jokela Upper Secondary School provides basic education for grades 7–9. The same building also houses the Jokela branch of Tuusula Upper Secondary School.

Kalliomaa School in the centre of Järvenpää provides basic education for pupils in grades 5–9 who are attending hospital school.

Kellokoski School is a comprehensive school (grades 1–9) located in Northern Tuusula. The school also has pre-school groups, and the Kellokoski branch of Tuusula Upper Secondary School is located in the same building.

Kolsa School in Jokela, Northern Tuusula, provides basic education for grades 1–6.

Lepola School is a small village school in Jokela, Northern Tuusula, offering education for grades 1–6.

Nahkelan School is located in South Tuusula, in the immediate vicinity of Hyrylä. The school provides basic education for pupils in grades 1–6. Due to the small number of pupils, teaching is organised in combined classes for two grade levels.

Paijala School is a primary school with approximately 250 pupils, located on the western side of Lake Tuusulanjärvi in Paijala, just over two kilometres from the centre of Hyrylä. The school was founded in 1916.

Perttu School in Jokela, Northern Tuusula, provides basic education for grades 1–6.

Riihikallio School is a comprehensive school with approximately 700 pupils in South Tuusula. The school operates on the principle of being the local school for all schoolchildren in the area and is responsible for music education in the municipality of Tuusula. There are classes from pre-school to Year 9.

Ruotsinkylä School is a primary school with approximately 75 pupils in South Tuusula. The school has classes for grades 1–6.

Rusutjärvi School is a village school with approximately 60 pupils, whose strength lies in its safe and communal learning environment.

Rykmentinpuisto School began operating in August 2025.

Tuomala School has been operating as a primary school on the shores of Lake Tuusulanjärvi since 1928. The school provides basic education for grades 1–6. Many of Tuomala's pupils come from Järvenpää and Kerava as well as Tuusula.

Tuusulanjärvi Swedish School (Tusby träsk svenska skola) is a new primary school with approximately 50 pupils. The school is located on the new Tusby träsk campus, which opened in August 2024.

Tuusulanjärvi School, which opened in autumn 2024, is a school with approximately 250 pupils offering basic education for grades 1–6. The same building also houses Tusby träsk svenska skola and Tuusulanjärvi Daycare Centre.

Vanhankylä School provides basic education for grades 1–6.

Vaunukangas School in South Tuusula provides basic education for grades 1–6.
