ProSchool
ProKoulu(switch to another service) is a school-wide operating model that uses positive feedback to guide pupils towards good behaviour. Kellokoski School’s ProKoulu guidelines relate to meals, breaks and lessons. In these situations, behaviour is guided by the values of responsibility, safety and respect.

Prevention and investigation of bullying
Kellokoski School’s anti-bullying plan specifies, among other things, our school’s bullying prevention activities and a model for investigating bullying incidents.
Supporting pupils
Student welfare work is one of our school’s key lea ing support services. Student welfare includes, among other things, the coordination of municipal special education and student welfare, the activities of the school’s student welfare team, school health care, psychologist, school counsellor and family counsellor services, and cooperation between various actors (e.g. youth services, social services, health services, the parish and the police).
Student welfare team
At Kellokoski School, a community student welfare team meets every other week, led by the head teacher. The group includes special education teachers, school nurses, the school counsellor, study counsellors and the student welfare psychologist. If necessary, class or subject teachers also participate in the student welfare team meetings. Students and parents are consulted at the student welfare team meetings. The student welfare team plans and coordinates the school’s preventive student welfare work and cooperates with various authorities. Preventing school bullying and preventive substance abuse work are also key areas of activity. If necessary, a pedagogical support group also meets to discuss changes in lea ing support. The participants in the pedagogical support group are assembled on a case-by-case basis so that only those persons who are essential to the pupil’s schooling are present. Individual student welfare meetings discuss the student’s schooling in more detail and are attended by the student, their guardian and teacher, as well as one of the following: a counsellor, school nurse, school doctor or student welfare psychologist.
School health care
The Central Uusimaa Welfare Area (Keusote) is responsible for school and student health care. School and student health care supports the growth and development of children and young people in cooperation with guardians, student welfare services and teachers.
Healthcare professionals are available at our school from Monday to Friday.
The school nurse’s email address is etunimi.sukunimi@keusote.fi.
School nurse Reetta Hokkanen, 050 497 0024
School nurse Kaisu Juntunen 050 497 0037
School meals and special diets for pupils
Parents are responsible for notifying the school of any special dietary requirements. The notification must be made to the school nurse (contact details can be found under “School Health Care”), who will forward the information to the municipal Food Services. A special diet can be implemented at the earliest two days after the notification has been received by the school kitchen.
Our school offers a vegetarian option every day.
Read the Tuusula municipality’s guidelines on special diets!
Hobbies and club activities
Pupils at Kellokoski School can also participate in clubs at other schools in Tuusula. The activity calendars are updated throughout the school year, so it is worth checking the website regularly. You can find school-specific activities and clubs via the link below.
