To the guardian of a pupil at Lepola School

You can find instructions on how to enrol your child in the first grade under Enrolling in school.

If you are moving to the vicinity of Lepola School, please contact the school principal.

Guardians can create Wilma accounts for themselves when registering their child for the first grade. The other parent can request a key code from the school secretary to create an account.

If a pupil changes schools during their comprehensive school education, you will automatically receive the necessary key code from the school secretary when you enrol at the school.

The purpose of the Lepola Parents’ Association is to

• promote cooperation between parents and the school
• promote cooperation between parents and the school
• support homes and schools in their efforts to create a good lea ing and growing environment for children and promote their balanced and diverse development.
• to highlight parents' views on issues relating to school and education
• act as a cooperative body for the pupils' parents.

In order to achieve its purpose, the association

• familiarises themselves with the school's educational objectives and activities
• maintains contact with the school administration and staff, and cooperates with other communities working for the benefit of the school
• discusses matters promoting cooperation between home and school at its meetings
• conducts information activities and organises meetings, discussions and celebrations.

The municipality of Tuusula has criteria for granting school transport. School transport is granted by the school principal and can be applied for using the Wilma form.

Carers and school taxis pick up pupils from the drop-off point next to the school playground during break time.

Guardians can apply for temporary absence for pupils from the class teacher or head teacher in Wilma under “Applications and decisions”.

Any absence from school lasting more than three days must be requested from the head teacher.

Sudden absences due to illness must be reported in accordance with the teacher’s instructions.
