To the guardian of a pupil at Nahkela School
On this page, you will find instructions for starting school and answers to questions related to school life.

Become a pupil at our school
You can find instructions and further information on enrolling your child in the first grade under Enrolling in school.
If you are moving to the vicinity of Nahkela School, please contact the school principal.
Wilma ID for guardians
Guardians can create Wilma accounts for themselves when registering their child for the first grade. The other parent can request a key code from the school secretary to create an account.
If a pupil changes schools during their comprehensive school education, you will automatically receive the necessary key code from the school secretary when you enrol at the school.
Parents’ Association
The Nahkela Home-School Association is an association run by the pupils’ parents, whose primary task is to support the school’s activities and the community spirit of the village of Nahkela. The funds collected by the Home-School Association are used to support, among other things, the travel costs of school trips and the purchase of materials. In addition, the Home-School Association awards scholarships each year at the end-of-year ceremony to pupils who have achieved outstanding results during the school year.
The association has a board that is elected once a year at the autumn meeting, whose members are primarily responsible for the association’s activities and related matters. However, all parents of Nahkela School pupils are welcome to participate in the activities.
For more information about the Home-School Association’s activities, please contact the chair of the Home-School Association:
