To the guardian of a pupil at Ruotsinkylä School

If you are moving to the vicinity of Ruotsinkylä School, please contact the school principal.

Guardians can create Wilma accounts for themselves when registering their child for the first grade. The other parent can request a key code from the school secretary to create an account.

If a pupil changes schools during their comprehensive school education, you will automatically receive the necessary key code from the school secretary when you enrol at the school.

Since 1993, Ruotsinkylä School has had an active parents’ association, Ruotsinkylän Koti ja koulu, whose purpose is to promote cooperation between pupils, their parents and the school.

Each school year, a representative council is appointed for the home and school community, with at least one representative from each year group. The representative council draws up an action plan for the entire school year, and the aim is to spread various events evenly throughout the term.
All parents of pupils at Ruotsinkylä School are warmly welcome to participate in the community’s activities, which are easily accessible.

Antti Nyman serves as chair of the Home and School Association. Suvi Tanner serves as the school’s representative in the association.

The municipality of Tuusula has criteria for granting school transport. School transport is granted by the school principal and can be applied for using the Wilma form.

Carers and school taxis pick up pupils from the drop-off point next to the school playground during break time.

Guardians can apply for temporary absence for pupils from the class teacher or head teacher in Wilma under “Applications and decisions”.

Any absence from school lasting more than three days must be requested from the head teacher.

Sudden absences due to illness must be reported in accordance with the teacher’s instructions.
