For guardians of pupils at Tuusulanjärvi Swedish School

You will find instructions on how to register your child for basic education in Tusby.

The guardian can create Wilma user codes for themselves when registering the child for the first grade. The other guardian can request a key code from the school secretary in order to create their own user codes.

If a pupil changes schools during primary school, the school secretary will automatically provide the necessary key code when registering with the new school.

Hem och Skola i Tusby rf. is a link between school and home. The association is involved in matters relating to schooling and the well-being of pupils and families. HoS contributes to various events for pupils, the purchase of materials, scholarships, etc. Lectures are also organised for the school’s parents. The association finances these activities through membership fees, organising lotteries at school events, and applying for grants from funds and foundations. It is important to have a functioning Home and School association, and all parents are welcome to participate in its activities.

Tusby Municipality has criteria for granting school transport. School transport is granted by the school principal and applied for via a form on Wilma.

Guardians and school taxis pick up pupils from the drop-off roundabout between the school and daycare centre grounds.

If a pupil is ill, their absence should be reported as a Wilma note rather than a Wilma message. This way, the absence will be visible to all teachers if, for example, the pupil’s own class teacher is also absent.

If the pupil has a taxi service, the absence must also be reported via kouluun.fi.

We hope that families will plan any holiday trips during school holidays. Absences of 1–3 days must be requested from the class teacher using the Wilma form. Absences of 4 days or more must be requested from the head teacher in the same way. The holiday application must be submitted at least one week before the planned holiday begins. During the holiday, the guardian is responsible for ensuring that the pupil completes the assignments given by the school.
