Volunteer activities organised by the municipality of Tuusula

As a municipal volunteer, you can work in areas such as culture, children, the elderly or the environment. You can also volunteer in community work, as a park buddy, or in museums or multicultural activities.

As a museum volunteer

Volunteering at the museum gives you a glimpse behind the scenes and an insight into the everyday work of museum professionals. You can support the activities of the Tuusula Museum while gaining enjoyable experiences and information on current topics in the museum field.

Park godfather

The Park Buddy programme is a voluntary initiative organised by the municipality of Tuusula. The programme gives residents the opportunity to actively influence the attractiveness of their local environment. Park Buddies do valuable work for the benefit of our shared public spaces. You can become a buddy on your own or as part of a group.

As a volunteer

Contact the school or daycare centre of your choice directly if you would like to become a school or reading buddy, for example.
