Instructions for making a reservation and opening doors
You can apply to use Metsäpirtti electronically via the Enkora calendar on the website. Applying to use the facility requires strong authentication. TuusInfo, our centralised customer service, can help you use the Enkora calendar and submit your reservation application.
Reservation requests are processed as quickly as possible, and you will receive an electronic confirmation of your reservation. The reservation confirmation includes a PIN code for the door locks and quick instructions for using the facilities.
Metsäpirtti reservations
Registering as a user
You can browse the availability of Metsäpirtti in the Enkora calendar without registering. When searching for available timeslots for facilities maintained in Enkora, applicants must register as users of the programme and identify themselves in the manner described below.
Registering as a private individual
You must always log in to the facility booking programme as a private individual. Strong authentication via the Suomi.fi website is used. You log in to the programme with your bank ID or mobile certificate. Once you have successfully authenticated yourself via the Suomi.fi service and registered as an Enkoran customer, you can submit reservation requests for facilities.
Extension of usage rights
If you are acting as a representative of an association, you can apply for extended access rights. Log in to Enkora with your personal credentials. Select ‘Extend access rights’ on the Enkora front page. Select the organisation you represent from Enkora’s customer register or create a new one by providing the requested information. Once the information has been saved, the application will be sent to the Enkora administrator for approval, and the applicant will receive a confirmation email once it has been approved.
Additional services subject to a charge
The €5 bed linen set includes a bottom sheet, top sheet and pillowcase. Guests are responsible for making and removing the bed linen. You may use your own bed linen, in which case no charge will be made. Sleeping bags may not be used inside Metsäpirtti.

Reservations for the coming year
Applications for the use of Metsäpirtti in the coming year will be accepted during November of the current year. Decisions on the allocated usage slots will be made at the beginning of December this year. Reservation applications are made electronically via the Enkora reservation programme, and customers will receive electronic notifications about them. Reservations cannot be made more than one year in advance.

If you are using an older browser version, we recommend that you use another device to register and make your booking request, or update your browser to a newer version before using Enkora.
Instructions for using the premises
Alcoholic
beverages Alcoholic beverages may be served in moderation, except at public events or events intended for persons under the age of 18. No traces of alcohol consumption may remain. All bottles, cans and other serving utensils must be carefully collected.
Fire extinguishing equipment
Foam extinguishers are located in designated places, with a carbon dioxide extinguisher in the kitchen and a fire hydrant in the main building corridor. Fire blankets are located in the kitchen.
Tableware
You may use Metsäpirtti’s tableware. We require that all Metsäpirtti tableware, serving utensils and work tools be washed after use and retu
ed to their proper places in the cupboards. There is tableware and coffee service for approximately 100 people.
Keys and alarm devices The person who
made the reservation will receive an electronic notification of the confirmed reservation. At the same time, a PIN code for the door locks will be sent, which will become active 15 minutes before the start of the reservation. The code will grant access to the premises for which the reservation was made.
The interior doors of the main building and the lakeside sauna have physical lock boxes. The location of the keys will be provided in the instructions received with the booking confirmation.
The burglar alarm is deactivated when the PIN code is entered into the code lock on the exte al door. The alarm is automatically activated 30 minutes after the battery runs out.
AV equipment
The training room has:
- Ministereo combination player, which can be connected to your own source via cable or Bluetooth connection
- 86-inch presentation screen that can be connected to your laptop or other source, such as a mobile phone or tablet
- Remote controls and AV equipment instructions can be found in the AV rack in the main building hall.
- If necessary, a document camera, slide projector and overhead projector are also available.

First aid
The first aid cabinet is located in the room next to the main door of the main building. A defibrillator is also located in the same room. The Tuusula on-call doctor service is located at Hyvinkää Hospital, telephone number 116 117.
Presentations
Presentation times can be arranged with our staff. Arrange a presentation by email or by calling 040 314 2218. If necessary, leave a call request on the answering machine.
Accessibility
The main building and lakeside sauna have wheelchair ramps and accessible toilets. There are some thresholds indoors, and the terrain in the area has fairly large differences in height.
Lost property If you have left anything
behind or lost something at Metsäpirtti, please ask the staff.
Street lights
Street lights and outdoor lights operate with a twilight switch.
Kitchen, food, dining
Kitchen staff are required to have hygiene skills and be familiar with Metsäpirtti’s self-monitoring plan, which can be found in the kitchen cupboard. As a general rule, only staff involved in food handling and food preparation are allowed in the kitchen.
The kitchen has separate keys. The person responsible for the group’s kitchen activities must contact Metsäpirtti before the start of their shift.

Accommodation
The main building has an accommodation wing with 10 rooms for four people. The rooms have two box spring beds and bunk beds, as well as a table and chairs. The beds have mattresses, mattress pads, blankets, pillows, bedspreads and hygiene covers.
Fire alarms
Metsäpirtti has smoke alarms and an automatic fire extinguishing and fire alarm system. Alarms are sent directly to the regional alarm centre.
According to Section 96 of the Act (379/2011), the rescue services may charge a significant fee for false alarms or alarms caused by negligence.
Rescue plan
Metsäpirtti has a rescue plan in accordance with the Fire and Rescue Act. We require that the group be prepared to take the necessary actions in accordance with the plan in the event of a fire or rescue situation. See section Safety.
The washing machine
in Metsäpirtti has a washing machine and tumble dryer. Please consult with the staff regarding their use.
Firewood
Firewood is stored in the woodshed on the shore and against the wall of the old dining shelter, near the campfire site in the yard. There is an axe in the woodshed. Please use the wood provided sparingly for the purpose of making a fire.
Parking
Parking is only permitted in designated P areas. The courtyard areas of Metsäpirtti are not parking areas. Unobstructed access to the area must be ensured for waste disposal, staff maintenance work and any emergency services operations.
Tablecloths
Metsäpirtti’s white tablecloths are stored in the supply room of the main building. Used tablecloths can be left in the laundry room.
Sauna Guests are
responsible for heating the sauna themselves. Detailed instructions are provided in the sauna. The sauna is switched on using the control panel in the electrical distribution board and remains on for four hours at a time. The sauna takes approximately one hour to heat up.
Cleaning
Cleaning is not included in the rental price. The customer is responsible for cleaning the premises upon departure and ensuring that the premises are left in an appropriate condition for the next user. Cleaning instructions are located in the cleaning cupboard in the main building. If the renter prepares food or stays ove
ight at Metsäpirtti, the instructions provided must be followed carefully. For shorter stays of a few hours, a quick tidy-up is sufficient. Cleaning equipment and detergents are located in the cleaning centre in the main building.
Metsäpirtti is thoroughly cleaned twice a week. Lassila & Tikanoja is responsible for cleaning Metsäpirtti.
Extra cleaning will be charged at €50/hour.
Safety The most important instructions

Smoking
Smoking is prohibited in the Metsäpirtti courtyard area. Under no circumstances may tobacco smoke enter the indoor areas.
Problems The Metsäpirtti staff are
primarily responsible for matters related to the property and its operations. They can be reached at 040 314 2218. Outside office hours, the property management centre’s on-call service can be reached at 040 314 2261.

Outdoor
fires Outdoor fires and bonfires may be lit in places deemed safe. Used fires and bonfires must be cleared away.
Boats and canoes
At Metsäpirtti, guests have access to a boat, a rowboat and canoes. Life jackets are available in the sauna.
Water and sewerage
in Metsäpirtti are provided by municipal services.
Bedding
The beds are equipped with a mattress, mattress pad, sheet, pillow and bedspread. We require that these items be neatly folded on top of the beds after use. The beds have hygienic covers, which must not be removed.
A five-euro linen fee is charged for the use of Metsäpirtti bed linen. The price includes one sheet, pillowcase and duvet cover. Reserve bed linen when booking your accommodation under ‘Additional reservations’. Bed linen should be retu ed to the linen trolley.
You may use your own bed linen, in which case no fee will be charged. Sleeping bags may not be used on the beds! Bed linen used on the beds may not be removed from the beds or used outside, for example. The bed linen is made of fire-resistant materials, and the cost of a single bedspread, for example, is approximately €80.
Rent
payment Rent is invoiced retrospectively to the address provided by the customer. Electronic invoicing is also possible.
Toilet paper/hand towels
Toilet paper and hand towels are provided by the building. The toilets in the main building have a pull-down towel system where you can replace the clean pull-down towel yourself.
