Monio is the first cultural centre in the municipality of Tuusula to offer facilities for professional performing arts. The impressive log building in Hyrylä has three performance spaces. The Kartano sports hall has a 342-seat telescopic auditorium, the Riihi hall has a 163-seat fixed auditorium, and the café auditorium has sixty seats on wooden steps.

The Riihi Hall has been built as a shared-use space that can be divided into two parts, for example for lessons. Some repairs have been identified in the space, but it will not be possible to complete all of them before the start of ticketed events. The biggest problem is the partial obstruction of the view from the upper part of the auditorium. The first two rows of the upper auditorium have either been removed from sale or tickets for them can be purchased at a reduced price. Activities in the Riihi Hall are organised with these challenges in mind. The aim is to repair the structures during 2024.

The Manor Hall has successfully hosted events such as university entrance examinations and theatre performances for 8th graders as part of the cultural education programme. The Monion Monttu auditorium, located next to the café, is suitable for open speaking events. Come and discover Monio and its numerous events.
