Construction work on the cycle and footpath is set to begin this week in the area around the junction of Kulloontie and Klaavolantie/Mahlamäentie. The worksite will cause minor disruption to traffic over the coming months.

The exhibition “Pekka Halonen: Finland’s Invitation” opens today at the Ordrupgaard Museum. It presents Pekka Halonen as one of the most significant artists in Finnish art history. The exhibition has been organised in collaboration with the Ateneum Art Museum, the Petit Palais art museum in Paris, the Rijksmuseum Twenthe in the Netherlands and the Ordrupgaard Museum. Several works and artefacts from Halosenniemi are included in the exhibition.

The Hyökkälä School, known as ‘Nopaksi’, welcomed new occupants at the start of September. The building houses workspaces for museum and cultural staff, as well as storage facilities for the municipality’s art and cultural history collections.
