The free Cake Festival event for the whole family will be held for the first time on the eve of Motheru0026#x27;s Day, Saturday 10 May 2025, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Monio.
At the Cake Festival, you can buy mouth-watering treats, take part in a cake competition and bake a cupcake for your mother on Mother’s Day. There will also be other fun activities!
The event will be held at the Monio Cultural Centre at Pataljoonantie 6, Tuusula.
A programme to enjoy while indulging
On the eve of Mother’s Day, you can decorate your own cupcake for your mum. There are cupcakes for the first 100 people! The decoration station is run by Hellapoliisi, aka Kati Jaakonen, and you can use Confetti’s decorations at the station. The cupcakes are baked for us by Uudenmaan Herkku.

Sign up for the cake competition and bring your delicious or impressive filled cake from Tuusula to the event venue on the day for the judges and audience to admire. There are three categories in the competition: professionals, home bakers and children/young people under 16 years of age. Participants from outside Tuusula are also welcome.
