Come and discover Särmä on 1 October 2026
Tuusula Municipality will be celebrating the opening of Särmä on Thursday 1 October 2026 from 10.00 to 18.00. On the day of the opening, you can find out about the services offered by the municipality at Särmä and explore the new premises. Prisma will also open on the same day.
‘What should I do if…?’ – a discussion event on everyday safety on Tuesday 6 October 2026
Welcome to a free event as part of Senior Citizens’ Week (5–11 October 2026) to a discussion event on safety, to be held at the Monion Monttu cultural centre on Tuesday 6 October 2026 from 4.00 pm to 6.30 pm. Advance registration is required for the event.
Houses and their stories invite you to Kellokoski
The delightful ‘Houses of Stories’ event is back again. Ten venues and the historic Kellokoski area invite you to visit on Saturday 22 August.
Pride will once again bring colour to Central Uusimaa from 24 to 29 August 2026
Keski-Uusimaa Pride Week, 24–29 August, invites everyone to celebrate diversity, creativity and togetherness across Hyvinkää, Järvenpää, Kerava, Nurmijärvi and Tuusula.
The opening ceremony will take place at Satakielenraitti on 19 August
The new Satakielenraitti trail, built in the countryside at the southern end of Lake Tuusulanjärvi, is now open along its entire length. The opening event, which is open to all, will offer an opportunity to explore the new nature trail and the area’s diverse birdlife. The opening ceremony will take place on Wednesday 19 August from 5.30 pm to 7.30 pm in Valkamanpuisto, near the junction of Kirkkotie and Koskenmäentie.

Tuusula Week brings a wealth of activities for all ages in July. The programme includes culture, sport, music, exhibitions, markets and community events across the municipality.
Fun activities for everyone, from babies to grandparents, at the family day
The Youth Services’ family days – which evoke a sense of nostalgia and bring generations together – are returning on 20–22 July to Jokela, Kellokoski and Riihikallio.
