Jatke Toimitilat Oy has published a weekly update on the Särmä business and service centre construction site for week 33, starting on 11 August. Work on the site has progressed to include earthworks and local casting for the surface parking area.

Please observe the no parking signs in the vicinity of the construction site. Cars parked incorrectly in the area may be towed away at the owner’s expense.
The access route to the library is closed with gates between the construction site and the library until further notice. Other access routes are open as normal. The temporary access route to the library through the closed area is shown in the picture below. The library return slot is located next to the main door of the library.
There is heavy traffic, including articulated lorries, on Autoasemankatu and Hyryläntie near the construction site. Please follow the traffic instructions and road signs.
Transport and traffic
Access to the properties will remain open throughout the construction project. Please follow the traffic signs and recommendations in the vicinity of the construction site. If necessary, traffic controllers will direct traffic. Construction work is underway on the
surface parking area in front of the library. Fences and access routes to the library will be modified as necessary as the work progresses.
Only library service vehicles and vehicles with LE permits are permitted to drive in front of the library.
