The Minikuvis group meets at the Monio Cultural Centre (Pataljoonantie 6, Tuusula) on Wednesdays from 5 to 6 p.m. There are eight sessions in total, with the first one taking place on Wednesday, 22 October 2025.

In mini art classes with young pupils, we introduce the basics of art through playful activities suitable for their age group, such as drawing, painting, clay modelling and building.

The Roots exhibition open for viewing for one week

The opening exhibition of Tuusula Art School’s 25th anniversary, Roots, will be on display at Galleria Monio for another week, until Thursday 9 October 2025. The exhibition features works from all of the art school’s basic education groups for children, young people and adults in Monio and Kellokoski.

The works have been created individually and in pairs. On display are graphics, paintings and brush drawings, among other things. Some of the installations in the exhibition were completed in collaboration with the students’ friends and families during workshops held at the start of the anniversary year.

The theme for the 25th anniversary of the art school is Roots. In teaching, the theme is approached from cultural, ecological and personal perspectives in a manner appropriate to the age level of the students.
