New this spring at Tuusula Adult Education Centre: sculpture courses
Tuusula College is offering two weekend courses in sculpture this spring: Wood Carving and Mixed Media Sculpture, taught by visual artist Paavo Paunu.
A low threshold for becoming a theatre maker and participant in Monio
Theatre-themed lectures and courses invite you to Monio. In March and April, Arttu Kapulainen will lead a course on the basics of theatrical expression, and Johanna Kultala will lead a beginner's course on puppet and object theatre for adults. On Tuesday 20 January from 6 to 8.30 p.m., you can learn more about the subject in a free public lecture entitled The Many Faces of Theatre. The college's spring programme includes new courses in all fields of study. With such a wide range of courses on offer, you are sure to find something that suits you. Take a look and join in!
Tuusula Art School's new group for 4–5-year-olds will start on 22 October.
Tuusula Art School's new Minikuvis group for children aged 4–5 will start after the autumn break. Sign up by 19 October at the latest!
Registration for autumn exercise groups begins on Wednesday, 13 August at 1 p.m.
Tuusula College's autumn study guide was published at the end of July. It lists both the college's and the sports services' exercise groups.
Teaching begins in Tuusula – school starts on 7 August.
In Tuusula, primary and secondary schools will begin their autumn term on Thursday, 7 August 2025. Approximately 5,600 children and young people will be heading to school, including around 480 first-year pupils making their first journey to school. The Tuusula Art School and Tuusula College will begin operating in August.

Tuusula Adult Education Centre's spring course programme will be distributed to households on 17 December 2025.
The college's spring courses will be published online by 12 December 2025 at the latest. A printed version of the spring study programme will be distributed to households in Tuusula on Wednesday, 17 December 2025.
Echo card in use in Tuusula
The Kaikukortti card can be used to purchase admission tickets to participating venues. These cultural venues are participating as a gesture of goodwill and do not receive compensation for Kaikukortti visits. In Tuusula, it is also possible to engage in artistic activities with the Kaikukortti card at the Tuusula Opisto and Jokela Adult Education Centre.
