Weekly newsletter for the Särmä business and service centre construction site (weeks 47–48)
Jatke Toimitilat Oy has published a weekly bulletin for the Särmä business and service centre construction site for the two-week period beginning on 17 November. Work that has already begun will continue. Access routes to the library may need to be changed as work progresses.
Work phases in progress in weeks 47–48:
- roof insulation work
- internal manufacturing stage
- facade work
- Earthworks and local casting work for the surface parking area.
We apologise for any temporary traffic and noise disturbances.
Particular attention should be paid to
Compliance with no parking signs in the vicinity of the construction site. Cars parked incorrectly in the area may be towed away at the owner’s expense.
The route to the library is closed with gates between the construction site and the library until further notice. Other routes are open as normal. The library return slot is next to the main door of the library. The new route to the library through the closed area is shown in the picture below.
There is heavy traffic on Autoasemankatu and Hyryläntie near the construction site. Please follow
traffic instructions and road signs.
Transport and traffic
Access to the properties will be available throughout the construction project. Please follow the traffic signs and recommendations in your area. If necessary, traffic controllers will direct traffic.
Earthworks are underway in the surface parking area in front of the library, and fences and access routes
to the library will be modified as necessary as the work progresses. Only library service vehicles and vehicles with LE permits are permitted to drive in front of the library.
For matters related to the construction site, please contact Rauli Kinnunen, rauli.kinnunen@jatke.fi.
