Come and help design the Tuusula municipal premises in the new social and health services centre – a follow-up to the January event
We are organising a workshop on Wednesday 22 April 2026 from 5.30 pm to 7.00 pm, where anyone interested will have the opportunity to contribute to the design of the Tuusula municipal meeting facilities to be located in the new Tuusula social and health services centre.
We held the previous event of this kind on 21 January 2026. We will now hear how the planning has progressed: at the start of the event, there will be a brief presentation of the current plans for the future health and social services centre and its future functions.
The workshop session will focus on the design of the premises to be managed by Tuusula Municipality and on the changes made in response to feedback from the previous workshop. The building will provide the municipality with a waiting area for bus passengers, as well as meeting spaces totalling around 200 square metres that can be booked by residents and local organisations.
Among those present will be Janne Mellin, Mayor of Tuusula, and a representative from Keusote.
Those attending the event will have the opportunity to get involved and have a say in decisions regarding the facilities in the municipality of Tuusula. The workshop also provides a good opportunity to discuss the principles and rules governing the use of these facilities together.
Date and time: Wednesday 22 April 2026, 5.30–7.00
pm Venue: Monio Upper Secondary School and Cultural Centre, 3rd floor, Kammari room (d.300B)
Address: Pataljoonantie 6, 04300 Tuusula
No registration is required. Coffee, tea and light refreshments will be provided.
The municipality of Tuusula has facilities suitable for events, leisure activities and meetings located in community centres, schools, nurseries and other properties across the municipality. The facilities to be located in the new social and health centre will serve in particular the residents and communities of the rapidly growing Hyrylä area, but also all other residents of the municipality.
The social and health services centre is being built in the centre of Hyrylä, next to the swimming pool, as part of a wider wellness district. The premises will be used by Keusote, Tuusula Municipality and HUS Diagnostics, as well as private operators; a car park is also being built for these users, amongst others. Operations in the new premises are scheduled to begin in early 2029.
