Tuusula manages three boat mooring areas on Lake Tuusulanjärvi: Koskenmäki (Kirkkotie) has 33 moorings, Pappila (Kotuntie) has 71 moorings and Tuomala (Rantatie) has 24 moorings. Only a limited number of boat moorings become available each year, and they are intended for private individuals and organisations in Tuusula.

- There is a rowing boat launch at the vicarage boat harbour.
- The Koskenmäki boat harbour has a landing place for short-term stops (maximum 15 minutes) for disembarking and boarding. Storing boats at the landing place is prohibited.

Search for a boat mooring
If you would like a boat mooring, please do the following:
Submit a free-form application for a boat mooring in writing, by email or by filling in an electronic application form. (Only one application per household.) Please provide your name, home address, telephone number and preferred location for the boat mooring. All applications received after the application period will be included in the following year’s selection process. Written applications must be submitted by 30 April at 3 p.m. each year.

Current boat mooring holders will receive a request for information regarding their mooring use during March. Boat mooring holders must notify us if they intend to give up their mooring. We will allocate the vacated moorings by lottery among applicants at the beginning of May, after the application period has ended.
An annual fee must be paid for the boat mooring. The current annual fee is €131.
The holder of a boat mooring must be prepared to move the boat to another storage location due to possible renovation work.
The boat mark must be affixed to the boat in a visible location. Replace the old mark with the new one once you have received it by post.
Rent a boat
Rental rowing boats are available on Lake Tuusulanjärvi during the summer season, from May to September, from Gustavelund (Sportuna Oy) and the Halosenniemi Museum.
