Use of Tuusulanjärvi School facilities

At Tuusulanjärvi School, special attention is paid to indoor air quality issues.  

During construction, the Terve Talo model was used on the Tuusulanjärvi campus. 

Indoor air quality has been taken into account in the procurement of building materials, fu ishings and textiles. 

We will not move fu iture to the Tuusulanjärvi campus or bring items from units where indoor air quality issues have been identified. 

We also do not bring used textiles or recycled goods to campus, and we use fragrances in moderation. 

At the Tuusulanjärvi campus, we wear socks, slippers or indoor shoes to keep the floors cleaner and reduce dust in the air. We are a so-called “sock school”. 

The gym slots for Tuusulanjärvi School and other schools are allocated in the spring.

I can apply for shifts that become available during the academic year through the room reservation system.

Residents, communities, associations and companies can reserve other hobby and classroom facilities as well as dining facilities at the school via the electronic facility reservation system. The booking system requires strong authentication (Suomi.fi). The system can be accessed via the digital services section of the municipality’s website.

The Tuusulanjärvi campus has facilities suitable for shared use, which can be reserved Monday to Friday after 5 p.m. and on weekends.

The courtyard areas of the Tuusulanjärvi campus have been renovated.  The courtyard area features basketball courts, artificial turf pitches and sand pitches. In addition, the courtyard has various swings, climbing equipment, a running track, a long jump area and a small cottage village.
