Some properties in the municipality of Tuusula have a site-specific indoor air working group. The indoor air working group is a multi-professional body that deals with symptoms reported in the property and agrees on further measures, such as maintenance, further investigation or immediate repairs. The indoor air working group also monitors the progress of the measures and their impact on indoor air quality.
Site-specific indoor air working groups
Below is a list of the units in the municipality of Tuusula, i.e. the sites where a site-specific indoor air working group operates. The municipal indoor air working group decides on the establishment and termination of site-specific indoor air working groups. The minutes of the indoor air working groups and the notices sent to the sites since 2024 have been posted on these pages. We are continuously adding older documents to these pages. You can also request older files by submitting a separate information request.
The Act on the Provision of Digital Services, also known as the Digital Services Act (306/2019), obliges municipalities to ensure that their websites and mobile applications comply with accessibility requirements. Indoor air quality reports are not accessible, so we are currently unable to publish them on our website. However, the reports are public and available upon request.
The members of the site-specific indoor air working groups are:

representative of the environmental centre
other representatives of the farm centre (if necessary)

representative(s) of the guardians.
School-specific indoor air working groups
Four schools have a site-specific indoor air working group. You can download the working groups’ memos and the notices sent to the sites under each school.
Hyrylä koulukeskus
The Hyrylä school centre previously housed Hyrylä Upper Secondary School and the Hyrylä branch of Tuusula Upper Secondary School. The Hyrylä branch of Tuusula Upper Secondary School will move to new premises in Monio in autumn 2023. Riihikallio School has been using part of the school centre’s premises as temporary premises following a fire in Riihikallio. For the 2025-2026 school year, Riihikallio School will move to Rykmentinpuisto School. A site-specific indoor air working group was established in 2018.
The Vaunukangas School site-specific indoor air working group was established in 2018. The Vaunukangas Daycare Centre joined the indoor air working group in December 2023. Here you will also find announcements conce

A site-specific indoor air working group for Hyökkälä School was established in 2018. Hyökkälä School ceased operations in spring 2025 when its activities were transferred to the new Rykmentinpuisto School.
Riihikallio School (the group is no longer active)
A site-specific indoor air working group was established at Riihikallio School in 2018. Riihikallio School ceased operations in spring 2025, and a new operating period began at the new Riihikallio School.
Five daycare centres have a site-specific indoor air working group. You can download the working groups’ memos and the notices sent to the locations under the daycare centre location. Notkopuisto Daycare Centre
A site-specific indoor air working group for the Notkopuisto daycare centre was established in December 2022.
A site-specific indoor air working group for the Pellava daycare centre was established in 2018. The Pellava daycare centre property will be transferred in its entirety to the control of the municipality of Tuusula at the beginning of 2024. During the 2025–2026 operating period, Pellava Daycare Centre will be temporarily relocated to Mikkola School while indoor air repairs are carried out at Pellava Daycare Centre.
The activities of the site-specific indoor air working group will end when the indoor air situation in the property has been resolved and the situation has been monitored sufficiently, or when the property is no longer in use. Information on indoor air working groups that ended before 2025 has not been included here.
