The aim of the sponsorship is to enable and support the career development of young artists and athletes in particular and to raise the profile of the municipality.

• Applicants should attach to their free-form application a description of their career, goals and the costs incurred by their activities, as well as a statement describing their success in their field, written by an educational institution, background organisation, sports association or other similar body.   

Young people

Applicants must be aged between 13 and 20 and be nationally recognised or successful residents of Tuusula. The value of the agreement is approximately €500–2,000 per year.

Adults

Applicants must be over 21 years of age, inte ationally recognised or successful residents of Tuusula, or individuals who have made Tuusula well known. The value of the agreement is approximately €1,000–10,000 per year.

Decisions on who will receive mentoring support are made by the municipal council. The municipality of Tuusula will enter into a written agreement with the selected individuals or groups. The agreement will be valid for 1–2 years at a time.
