Tuusula's cultural education plans got a new logo
The year 2025 brought a breath of fresh air to Tuusulau0026#x27;s cultural education plans in the form of an updated Kultsut logo. The group working on the cultural education plans wanted the new logo to be timeless and playful.
Graphic designer Vivi Virtanen was selected to design the new logos for the cultural education plans. Virtanen has experience in producing graphic materials aimed at children and young people.
“The new Kultsu logos are a modernised interpretation of the old logo. The old colours were discarded and the logos were incorporated into Tuusula’s visual identity using the colours and fonts specified in Tuusula’s brand guidelines. The logo’s ambiguity reflects the diversity of Tuusula’s cultural education plan!” explains Vivi Virtanen.

Each stage of the cultural education plan was assigned its own colour, which is always included in the logo according to the stage. The colours are Tuusula’s brand colours. The general colour for the logo is Water. The colour for the Taika Kultsu early childhood education cultural education plan is Brick, the colour for basic education is Nature, and the colour for the secondary education cultural education plan is Sky. In addition, a single logo was created to represent all cultural education plans, using all of the colours mentioned above.
The logos will be updated in Kultsun’s materials during the spring.
