Agreement signed for Sote centre project – planning work to begin in January
The Central Uusimaa Welfare Area (Keusote), the municipality of Tuusula and YIT Rakennus Oy have signed an agreement on the design of a social and health centre and parking facility to be built in Hyrylä.
Under the agreement, the development phase starting in January 2026 will confirm, among other things, the project costs and construction schedule. The aim is to start construction work as early as next summer.
Once completed, the new social and health centre will serve all residents of the Central Uusimaa welfare area. It will be built in the centre of Hyrylä, next to the swimming pool, as part of a larger welfare block. The premises will be used by Keusote, the municipality of Tuusula and HUS Diagnostics, as well as private operators. Operations in the new premises are scheduled to begin in early 2029.
The project has been advanced through good cooperation between Tuusula and Keusote, and the new social and health centre will further strengthen the positive development of Hyrylä town centre and Tuusula.
