The municipality postponed the start of construction from autumn 2025 to spring 2026, when the timing will be more favourable for building and renovating the old building. The building, which dates back to 1862, is protected by the town plan.
The renovation is expected to be completed in spring 2027. The total cost will be approximately €2.4–2.6 million.
