Children and young people’s views and experiences influence environmental planning – a toolkit has been developed to support participation

Tuusula’s ‘Child-Friendly Municipality’ initiative promotes opportunities for children and young people to have a say in the planning of their local environment. The participation toolkit, developed by the Growth and Environment Division, provides experts with tools to ensure that the voices of children and young people are heard more clearly than ever before.

First plots of land in Kellokoski’s Joenranta handed over 

The plots of land in the municipality of Tuusula, which went on sale at the beginning of the year in Kellokoski's Joenranta, attracted the interest of citizens looking for a place to build their homes. During the first wave of applications, which lasted about a month, eight applications were submitted for the plots. The Joenranta plots are now open for continuous application.

Focus Business Park – Featured at MIPIM 2026, Cannes 

Focus area

The Focus area in Tuusula, i.e. Focus Business Park, will participate in the international MIPIM 2026 real estate event in Cannes on 10–11 March. The event will showcase the strengths of the Focus area: its exceptional logistical location, sustainable development planning and smooth cooperation with the municipality and business partners.
