There’s still time to nominate the most culture-friendly initiative of 2026

Each year, the Culture and Leisure Committee presents the ‘Cultural Contribution of the Year’ award to an individual or organisation whose activities have revitalised, revitalised or highlighted culture in Tuusula. Nominate a recipient!

The aim of the Culture Award is to encourage cultural actors and to recognise new and innovative cultural initiatives. The award cannot be won twice, nor can it be awarded to events or activities organised by the municipality of Tuusula. The award will be presented on Tuusula Day, 22 July, at Kellokoski Ruukki. The award consists of a certificate of honour and a cash prize.

You still have time to nominate a candidate for the Culture-Friendly Person of the Year award by 31 May at the latest.
