Swimming Pool Rules
Everyone is welcome at the swimming pool just as they are. To ensure that the swimming pool remains a pleasant and comfortable place for everyone, we have some general rules and guidelines in place to guarantee everyone’s safety and enjoyment. Thank you for following the rules.

Swimming Pool Rules and Guidelines
General guidelines
- Admission entitles you to a two-hour stay in the swimming pool and gym facilities.
- Safety guidelines and instructions given by staff must be followed in all areas of the swimming pool.
- The swimming pool is an alcohol-free zone. Appearing under the influence of alcohol or drugs, the possession and use of alcohol or drugs, as well as smoking and the use of snus, are prohibited in all our premises.
- Photography within the swimming pool premises and the use of mobile phones in the changing rooms, washrooms and pool areas are not permitted without prior authorisation.
- Loitering and disruptive, loud behaviour are prohibited on the premises of the swimming pool.
- For your own safety, please inform the staff of any medical conditions you may have, such as heart problems, epilepsy, diabetes or asthma.
- Everyone uses the swimming pool at their own risk and is also responsible for looking after their own clothes and other belongings whilst on the premises.
- Training sessions for groups, schools and sports clubs are organised under the supervision of a designated person, who must be present throughout the session.
- Do not hang from the track ropes, as this may cause them to stretch and break.
- Check the signs by the pool to find your spot, so that everyone can swim in peace.
- Please be considerate of other customers and allow everyone else to enjoy a positive experience. Respect everyone’s physical integrity in both your words and actions. Respect diversity. Sexual behaviour and harassment are prohibited in the swimming pool.
- If you notice any issues or safety risks on the premises or in the behaviour of other customers, please report this to the swimming pool staff immediately.
- Staff are entitled to issue a warning to customers and to remove individuals, groups or organisations that breach the rules or cause a disturbance.
- Breaches of the rules and regulations, failure to follow staff instructions, unlawful activities or bad behaviour may result in a temporary ban. Customers will not be compensated for any unused visits that expire during the period of the ban.
Age restrictions
- Children who cannot swim and those under the age of 8 may only enter the swimming pool when accompanied by an adult who can swim.
- The minimum age for using the gym is 15. 13–14-year-olds may train under the supervision of a parent or coach.
- Children aged 7 and over should use the changing room designated for their gender.
Hygiene
- Please wash thoroughly before entering the sauna or the pool. By washing thoroughly, we ensure that the swimming water remains clean.
- Wet your hair or wear a swimming cap. Tie long hair back.
- Swimwear is compulsory in the swimming pool. Please wear only clean swimwear made from swimwear fabric. No underwear may be worn under your swimwear.
- Swimming shorts and burkinis are permitted.
- Please do not shave or dye your hair in the changing rooms or washrooms.
- Avoid using perfumes.
- Please wear clean indoor shoes only in the washrooms and toilet areas.
- Come and swim and get active – just stay healthy.
Safety
- The lifeguard is responsible for maintaining order and ensuring safety.
- Children are always the responsibility of their own parents or carers. The staff’s duty of supervision does not diminish the responsibility of parents or carers to look after their children. Supervise your child in the pool or at the poolside, remaining in the child’s immediate vicinity. Adults supervising children who cannot swim must be wearing swimwear.
- Any adult or child who cannot swim 25 metres or more must not enter, nor must they be taken into, the main swimming pool unless the lifeguard has given permission, for example for swimming lessons.
- Children who cannot swim (those who can swim less than 25 metres) may only enter the therapy pool when accompanied by a guardian and without any flotation aids.
- To avoid accidents, you must only jump into the water at the designated spot.
- You must obey the traffic lights on the slip road.
- Floats are not reliable flotation devices. For this reason, floats must not be used in the fitness and therapy pool. This measure ensures that non-swimmers are never left in deep water without supervision. An exception is made for people who require floats due to physical limitations or a disability.
- Free diving is permitted only with the lifeguard’s permission.
- Please walk carefully due to the risk of slipping.
- The physical or mental integrity of other persons must not be violated.
- Please do not bring food or breakable bottles into the changing rooms, washrooms or shower areas.
- Behaviour that is sexually offensive is prohibited.
- The swimming pool adheres to the principles of a safer environment. Everyone can contribute to the safety of shared spaces and situations through their behaviour. Please contact the swimming pool staff if you notice any safety issues, discrimination, racism, harassment or bullying.
