The swimming pool area

Tuusula Swimming Pool opens on 1 June 2026

The refurbishment of the swimming pool has been completed, and the pool will reopen on Monday 1 June from 6 am.

The most visible changes for customers have been made to the lobby and café areas, as well as the changing rooms and sauna facilities. The project involved repairing structural damage to the swimming pool and preventing further damage from occurring. In addition, the building services were upgraded, the surfaces in the washing, sauna and pool areas were refurbished, and energy efficiency was improved.

Accessibility in the swimming pool facilities has been further improved; for example, all signage has been updated. Guide lines have been added to the floors in the changing rooms and pool areas to make it easier to navigate the facilities. Separate shower cubicles with doors have been installed in the changing rooms to enhance privacy. Swimwear may now be worn in the washrooms and sauna if desired.

Refurbishment work at the main entrance, the ticket office, and the café and lobby areas will make it easier to move around. The improvements are expected to make visits smoother and enhance the customer experience.

The swimming pool is not closed for the summer

The swimming pool will be open throughout the summer, as the equipment servicing and other maintenance work normally carried out during the summer has now been completed as part of the refurbishment. However, opening hours will be slightly more limited in mid-summer than at other times of the year.

Summer opening hours

1–28 June and from 3 August:

  • Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, 6 am–9 pm
  • Wednesdays from 11am to 9pm
  • Saturdays and Sundays from 11am to 6pm.

29 June–2 August:

  • daily from 11am to 6pm.

New products and services encourage children and families to take up swimming

The swimming pool is placing greater emphasis on teaching children and families to swim. New packages have been added to the pool’s price list to encourage families and children to swim.

Thanks to the children’s swimming pass, primary school children will now be able to swim at an affordable price. The swimming pass, which is aimed at children aged 8–13, is valid for 120 days and costs just €20.

Family tickets have been revamped, and their prices have been reduced in relation to other products. For example, one adult and 1–2 children (aged 7–17) can go swimming for €10.10. A family ticket for two adults and 1–3 children costs €15. Children under the age of 7 can swim with an adult free of charge.
