What is wellbeing coaching?
Wellbeing coaching provides support for exercise and lifestyle changes. In wellbeing coaching, you and your coach will discuss how you can change your lifestyle to support your health and increase the amount of exercise in your daily routine. You don’t have to become a fitness fanatic; the goal is to find joy in exercise and your own way of moving.
Wellbeing coaching is based on a value- and acceptance-based approach, so we link lifestyle changes to values that are important to you. By clarifying your own values, we will find your personal motivators and goals for a healthier lifestyle and more active everyday life. We will proceed with the coaching in small steps, and your coach will support you on your jou ey of change.

How can I join?
- Obtain a referral for exercise. You can access wellness coaching through the health services of Keski-Uusimaa wellness area Keusote. For example, a nurse, public health nurse or doctor can write you a referral for exercise if you have at least one health risk, such as type 2 diabetes or a BMI over 30. You can also ask your nearest health centre for an exercise referral if you feel you need to change your lifestyle.
- Book an appointment for wellness coaching. The exercise referral contains contact details for booking an appointment.
