As usual, the week consisted of various pre-Pride events, culminating in a fantastic Pride event in Järvenpää. In Tuusula, the pre-Pride events included various workshops, a café and literature. On the main day of the celebrations, the municipality of Tuusula celebrated equality by flying rainbow flags in all municipal centres. The aim of flying the flags was to remind people that everyone has the right to be themselves.

The workshops organised during the pre-party week brought participants together for a fun time. Tuusula and the other municipalities participating in Central Uusimaa Pride would like to thank everyone who organised the pre-party events. The pre-events play an important role in Pride Week by raising awareness of equality and diversity in our region. In Tuusula, the pre-events were organised by the Tuusula Library, Tuusula Youth Services and the Tuusula Participation Team in collaboration with Funk On, an organisation specialising in street art.

We are collecting feedback on Keski-Uusimaa Pride so that we can develop it into an even more enjoyable and better event in the future. Feedback is provided via a survey created by the City of Järvenpää, which takes about 5 minutes to complete. The survey is open until 12 September 2025.

Mäntsälän Seta ry will serve as the patron of Central Uusimaa Pride in 2025. The association emphasises that it is important for the LGBTQ community to have a voice and that this is supported by municipalities and cities. Cooperation is of great importance.
